Georgia Employer MATERIAL HANDLER (1ST SHIFT) in Winder, Georgia
The Material Handler position is responsible for safely moving inventory within the warehouse, loading trucks according to written specifications, and unloading trucks. The Material Handler uses overhead cranes and forklifts to move steel coils, sheet, plate, and parts. In addition, the Handler may be called upon for packing finished product, assisting machine operators and performing other duties within the warehouse, as needed. Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent is preferred.Previous experience with forklifts and overhead cranes required.Experience scanning and organizing inventory strongly preferred.Strong attention to detail with ability to stay organized.Ability to work well independently and while given direction.EOE/M/F/VETS/DISABILITY
