Cashier/Receptionist

The Cashier/Receptionist greets all visitors to a Lithia store and assists customers at the cashier counter.

The Cashier/Receptionist position reports to the Business Manager.

Responsibilities

· Answer all incoming phone calls according to company policies and in a friendly and professional manner.

· Assist all customers at the cashier counter in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.

· Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, or automatic debits.

· Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers.

· Balance cashier account every day

· Identify prices of goods, services and total bills using calculator.

· Maintain cleanliness and appearance of desk and showroom.

· Any other assigned duties.

Skills and Qualifications

· Strong attention to detail

· Sense of urgency

· Excellent communication

· Typing – ability to type efficiently to enter accurate information into tracking system

· Mathematics – ability to solve basic math calculations

· Basic Computer skills
