The Global Supply Chain Manager is accountable for documenting and working with the wider Supply Chain team to embed the HT Supply Chain (SC) processes in support of the execution of regional activities in the movement of raw and finished materials, Customer Service, S&OP/E, metal management, inventory and working capital, transportation, distribution, and logistics working in collaboration with a Sector Supply Chain team and local site teams as well as supporting broader JM needs as required.
They are responsible for developing supply chain talents and understanding of the end-to-end processes within the regional teams. They will support a growing business by allowing for smooth integration of new HT sites, including embedding end-to-end SC processes, training, and system integration. Finally, this role will support the introduction of new products into sites from a SC perspective. As global action on climate change gathers pace, so does the shift to cleaner energy sources, such as hydrogen, to provide low or zero emission power for our homes, industry and transport.

Your responsibilities:
Ensure Supply Chain teams are aligned with JM’s value which include EHS and ethical behaviours.
Be a member of the global sector supply chain HT leadership team and contribute to sharing of best-practices and overall supply chain strategy and execution.
Working with the wider SC team, document and embed Supply Chain policies, ensuring these are disseminated. Ensuring that the monitoring/ controlling processes are effective. Ensure training is effective and monitor actual practice.
Working with the wider HT Supply Team and Operations team, develop a global strategy and implementation plan to deliver outstanding value to HT business. Deploy critical few metrics to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead with example of JM culture ambition and essential behaviours of play to win. Demonstrate progress in simplicity, accountability, and drive for results.
Lead implementation and delivery of global and regional initiatives such as footprint projects, business continuity plan, and cross sector initiatives.
Requirements for the role:
University degree in related field Supply Chain Manager, Engineering or other technical field or equivalent experience
Experience in demand and supply planning & inventory management
APICS Certification Preferred
Project Management skills or experience.
