BRMi Data Tester in Washington, District Of Columbia
BRMi is seeking a Data Tester to support a large financial customer.
To perform integration, regression and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and customer business practices and policies. Assists in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and the creation and editing of test cases for new or modified systems.

Must have experience with Testing efforts for data in cloud such as Data lake, Data hub, Master Data Management
Experience with testing ingestion and processing of Batch and Real time data on cloud or On Prem environments
Experience with NoSQL databases, ideally Azure cosmos DB or MongoDB or equivalent
Must be able to write complex SQL Queries.
Should have exposure to Databricks notebooks for data validation using SQL and/or Pyspark.
Proficiency in analyzing business requirements (source to target mappings) and develop System test plans, test estimates, test strategies, test cases and test data.
Must be well versed with different data models, data ingestion and integration testing best practices, standards, and processes in ETL and ELT systems.
Should have exposure to Large Data Sets and understand Data Quality framework.
6-10 Years of Software Quality Assurance Experience on Enterprise level applications with thorough knowledge of all types of testing life cycles (system, integration, performance, user acceptance) in large data warehouse and Data Lake environments
Experience with Python is preferred
Should be detail oriented with analytical mind set.
Must have Advanced degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
