Red River Senior Cybersecurity Engineer in Tallahassee, Florida
Red River is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX deployments and administration to join our team. The successful candidate will provide consultative recommendations during the implementation of Red River client zero trust architectures. You will be responsible for providing expert deployment services to enhance Red River client zero trust migration strategies. You will provide deployment services throughout the lifecycle of the engagement including planning, design, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Act as a technical escalation point to assist other consultants
Provide deployment recommendations pertaining to client’s environment
Technical lead for project cybersecurity deployments, connector configuration, policy development, deployment templates/workbooks, test plans, and third-party system integration
Assist Cybersecurity Architects in Statement of Work (SOW) and Level of Effort (LOE)per client requirements
Provide outcome delivered solutions throughout the life of each project
Configuration and troubleshooting system integration with SSO/IAM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, DLP, and MDM solutions
Provide knowledge transfer of deployed solutions
Ability to communicate effectively to clients as well as Red River team members
Maintain education through professional-expert level certifications, technical conferences, and publications (Zscaler ZIA Professional, Zscaler ZPA Professional, and Zscaler ZDX administrator)
Contribute to Red River Virtual Cybersecurity community
Required Qualifications:
Deep understanding and prior experience with CASB, NGFW, IPsec/GRE, Reverse Proxy, SSO, DLP, and ZTNA
Desirable experience with SASE experience including Palo Alto Prisma Access
Understating of the TCP/IP OSI model, operating system fundamental (Windows/Linux)
Experience with SAML, MFA, and DLP integrations
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues effecting clients related to privacy and data protection
Working knowledge of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
Understanding of CISA’s Zero Trust Maturity Model and Cloud Security Technical Reference Architecture
Understanding of Privileged Access Management and Privileged Identity Management solutions including multi-factor authentication (Okta, DUO, Azure Authenticator, etc.)
Deep understanding of automated asset discovery
Deep understanding of network and application micro segmentation
Knowledge and experience with Security Orchestration Automation and Response solutions to include:Palo Alto XSOAR, MS Sentinel
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM
Active Zscaler ZIA Professional, ZPA Professional, ZDX Administrator certifications
Preferred Qualifications :
CCNA/CCNPSecurity or Network
Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE)
Microsoft Certified: Cyber Security Architect Expert
Zscaler Zero Trust Certified Architect (ZTCA)
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience deploying network security and/or cybersecurity solutions, Zscaler subject matter expert
Preferred Experience:
5+ years security deployment experience including firewalls, endpoint, NAC, and cloud security architectures
3+ years working as a Professional Services consultant
Essential Working Conditions:
Physical (lift/carry/push/pull) typically 20-50 lbs
Work sitting or standing daily
Travel as required
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $125,000-$150,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
