Description
Candidates looking for a new role via Robert Half in the Sterling Heights, Michigan area as Claim/Mailroom Assistants could be interested in this position. This position will also be responsible for managing and maintaining physical and digital mail-sorting systems. What you get to do every day
Provide help to employees complete diverse projects as necessary
Ledger, cluster, and/or distribute mail and packages
Direct clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing
Prepare claims for scanning and entry into the adjudication system
Data entry of claims, reviewing preprocessing edits, and completing claim forms
Receive, sort, scan, batch, and distribute a high volume of incoming mail
Requirements
We need the person we hire to be flexible and focused
Comfortable handling office equipment
Perform general clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
1+ years of prior experience working in health benefits or medical administrative role
Experience with Microsoft Word
Experience handling medical billing or claims a huge plus
Data entry experience required
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
