We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThis position is responsible for providing assistance and support to the staff and patients of the department by aiding in patient care as directed by technologists, including greeting patients, assisting with paperwork, transporting and assisting with moving patients, answering the phone and other duties.Assists the Technologist with work flow of inpatients, ER, and outpatients.Greets patients, introduces self to patient, introduces patient to technologist.Provides excellent care to patients, meeting their needs of comfort and communication.Monitors transport times to and from patient rooms and assists with the transport of ER patients.Provides paperwork to the patient and assists the patients with its completion, ensuring Technologist reviews all documentation prior to the start of the imaging exam.Maintains patient confidentiality within HIPAA guidelines and policy. Communicates essential information to Technologist and/or Nurse, as applicable.Prepares patients for imaging exams: assists with undressing/dressing appropriately in a patient gown/scrubs; prepares the exam room under direction and guidance of Technologist; assists in patient moving...
