Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Treasury and Credit, the Senior Credit Manager will collaborate closely with their team to support all aspects of global credit management. The Senior Credit Manager will be responsible for consistent application of the credit policy, the process of granting credit, and credit assessment of existing and potential customers. This position requires extensive experience with credit evaluations, financial statement analysis and credit metrics. Along with strong technical, analytical, negotiation and communication skills, the ideal candidate must have a high level of motivation, flexibility, initiative, and leadership.
Responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following:
Lead and mentor team members in a fast-moving environment.
Oversee and guide in the development and execution of departmental policies, procedures, and projects; monitor workflow; ensure department objectives are met timely and accurately; review and evaluate work and performance.
Ensures team adherence to SOX controls, credit policies and internal controls.
Coordinate responses to internal/external audit requests and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Credit reviews and risk assessment of existing and new customers globally.
Establishing credit limits, assigning risk ratings, and assessing credit requests.
Evaluation of customer’s financial strength and creditworthiness through the analysis of financial statements, credit agency reports and external sources, while also considering external risks such as country risk.
Negotiating collateral and other risk mitigation options available within each country globally.
Work closely with Sales and cross functional teams to support growth while mitigating credit risk.
Understanding when issues need to be escalated.
Assist in the development and implementation of tools to monitor key credit metrics.
Monitor credit holds reviewed and released by team members globally.
Monitor changes in economic, industry and customer conditions, maintain communication with various internal teams to evaluate potential changes to customers' credit risk and credit limits.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners.
Ability to provide strategic recommendations, work on multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
7+ years of relevant global credit experience
4+ years of successful leadership/management experience
Understanding of GAAP
Thorough understanding of financial statements and financial metrics
Excellent negotiating skills, and ability to create win-win situations with difficult circumstances.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
Experience with development and implementation of tools to monitor key credit metrics.
Attention to detail with the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task effectively.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external business partners.
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with teams across the organization and with external business partners.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
SAP experience preferred.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $84,000 - $185,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
