Under the direction of the Manager, People Experience this position is responsible for the administration of the employee benefits programs for all US and Canada Mölnlycke Healthcare spread across all 50 states. This teammate would be responsible for developing and presenting benefits communications for the People team, leaders and team members. Collaborates with the Manager, PX on assessment, strategic planning, and development of benefit programs

You’ll make significant contributions in the following areas:

  • Responsible for the employee benefits programs including all or part of the following: vacation, holidays, sick leave, medical/dental coverage, short and long-term disability, life and accidental death, 401K, supplemental retirement programs, savings programs, pension programs, unemployment, and leaves of absence, flexible spending accounts, and COBRA, etc.

  • Responds to tickets opened by employees in the PX Portal when relevant to benefit related items

  • Processes I9s as needed for new hires

  • Send employee gift boxes for new babies or bereavement

  • Provides excellent customer service while resolving employee questions and issues by interpreting benefit policies, vendor contracts and procedures

  • Problem-solve with benefits brokers and vendors to resolve benefit issues

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of Annual Open Enrollment

  • Provide support and oversee communications of benefits to employees

  • Process all enrollments and changes in HRIS system and run appropiate reporting when needed

  • Partner with vendors to maintain system updates with benefit rates, groups and plan design changes

  • Handle the administration of Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation

  • Assist with research on trends and developments in the area of employee benefits and recommending nature and timing of benefit plan improvements

  • Participates in all required audits and filings including but limited to Affordable Care Act (ACA), 401 testing and True Up, etc.

  • Supporting the People Expereince (PX) Team with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee & manager PX questions & escalations; troubleshoot and resolve such inquiries via phone, portal tickets, email, and using case management tools

    May perform other duties as assigned

    What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration

  • Expert knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, ACA and workers’ compensation required.

  • Experience interpreting various compensation policies and practices, performing job evaluations, and employee impact analyses and analysis to determine market position desired.

  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other relevant professional credentials and/or advanced degree highly desirable.
