The trainer\'s primary objective is to enhance the adjusters\' knowledge, skills, and abilities to handle property claims accurately, efficiently, and effectively. The Cat Training Specialist will collaborate with other trainers, management, and subject matter experts to develop training programs that align with corporate goals, policies, and procedures. They will also develop training materials, including training manuals, presentations, and instructional videos. The trainer will deliver training programs via various mediums, including virtual training, classroom instruction, and on-the-job training. They will evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback from participants, adjusting their approach to meet the needs of the audience. The Property Claims Adjuster Trainer will stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure that training programs remain up-to-date and relevant. They will continuously seek opportunities to improve training delivery methods and incorporate new learning technologies. The ideal candidate for this position should have a background in property claims adjusting and possess excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. They should have the ability to design and deliver effective training programs and develop engaging training materials.ResponsibilitiesDesigns virtual, classroom and on-line instruction in conjunction with business partners and subject matter experts using proven training methods and techniques.Facilitates and leads training instruction (classroom or virtual) using proven training methods and techniques.Designs and updates professional continuing education courses in various media to make them current and compliant for employees and clients.Edits and updates existing courses. Courses may include instructor led or online self -paced courses.Prepares and administers assessments, quizzes, exams and post program evaluations.Maintains library of current resource materials.Stays abreast of new training methods and media and competitor training techniques.Maintains up to date knowledge and current trends in field.Provides on-going mentoring and coaching as needed, for adjusters in the field.Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct.RequirementsDepending on field: For property, flood, liability, or workers compensation, a Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Risk Management or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience; for medical case management courses, a Bachelor\'s of Science degree in Nursing or graduate degree from accredited nursing school; for technical courses, appropriate technical training and expertise.3-5 years of experience developing and delivering management, service and leadership programs.Previous experience providing services in branch operations and/or as a Supervisor or Branch Manager.Flood positions: 4-5 years of...
