The Opportunity
Be part of an exciting and rewarding role where you will lead as a key insight integrator for commercial business partners by developing reporting to collate, synthesize and visualise data analysis that will provide business leaders with insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of omnichannel customer interactions in delivering Janssen’s value propositions & drive planned outcomes.
This is a unique role which requires a balance of commercial and technical expertise. You will partner closely with business units to improve the effectiveness of customer interactions through an omnichannel approach tailored to meet customer needs based on an understanding of the customer’s preferences, business goals, drivers and initiatives. This will enable business leaders to see relevant, sales-driving opportunities and build course correcting actions using insights generated by analysing the effectiveness of customer interactions by channel versus targets. This is a 12-month fixed term contract role working in a hybrid in office/at home model.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
Design, develop, maintain & improve interactive dashboards that:
Visualise analysis of KPIs & metrics to deliver insights & recommend actions to improve the effectiveness of Omnichannel HCP interactions in delivering planned outcomes
Are fit for purpose, easy to operate & that clearly communicate analysis that empowers users to self-serve insight generation & quickly identify actions required to exploit opportunities & mitigate risks.
Utilise analytical technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau dataIQ, Alteryx, SQL to collate, integrate, prepare, visualise & automate analysis of complex raw data collected through customer interactions and business outcomes
Source data held within the data warehouse (eg sales performance, CRM data, market research, competitive intelligence and Real World Evidence) to support analysis and generate insights employing best in class analytic methodologies.
Support governance of data used for integration by defining & documenting key processes, managing business rules & master lists to ensure integrity, timeliness of, & confidence in, data analytics & insight reporting
Partner with Business Unit Leads, Data Science & Insight team & IT team to:
Understand the key outcome goals and the strategies & tactics planned to communicate key value propositions to targeted customer base via an omnichannel approach.
Identify measures of success and metrics to assess and track performance of key business drivers and activities
Understand evolving business needs, analytical requirements and identify new data sources to improve depth of insights and analysis
Develop reporting dashboards to support tailored business requirements to identify, track & analyse new opportunities
Explore use of data science & advanced analytical techniques to advance insight generation.
Support continual improvements in user experience & insights by:
Improving timeliness of reporting by optimising capture, dataflow & refresh of datasets
Sourcing & integrating new contemporary datasets to add depth & breadth to analysis
Improving user experience by enhancing interactive dashboards to empower customer facing teams & senior partners to self-serve their insight generation
Developing and train multi-functional users in use of dashboards to enable/increase self-service capabilities
Deliver and manage Sales Force Effectiveness targeting, Rewards & Recognition system
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
You will be a proactive and self-motivated individual with experience in data led decision making & analysis to deliver business results in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in business partnering with senior team members to gather analytical requirements, identify critical metrics & build dashboards to visualize & report insights will lead to success in this role. Some other things we are looking for:
Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance, Business Insights & Analytics, Data Science
Technical Skills: Advanced level Power BI, DAX, SQL and MS Office Suite, Alteryx, dataIKU, Tableau
Expertise in developing reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau
Extensive experience using DAX, SQL, dataIQ or Alteryx to prepare integrate & analyse data
Experience in database management and data governance to ensure data integrity
Experience in shaping multifunctional teams without the direct authority
Ability to track, report & measure success of execution of agreed benchmarks to produce sales success and proven return on investment.
Comfortable in handling uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.
Talent for problem-solving through analytical ability and able to change to new solutions as required.
Experience in presenting complex subjects to senior leaders
