Description
A current opening through Robert Half, seeks an ambitious, determined Controller to join the team at a prominent company. As the Controller, you will plan and direct all accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assess accounting and internal control systems, and guide departmental staff. The Controller will be a permanent employment opportunity and will be located in the Naples, Florida region.
Major responsibilities
Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners
Perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities
Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques
Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management
Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective
Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis
Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis
Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed
