Human Resource Generalist
Participate in recruiting activities that include resume review, inviting candidates for open interview, interview and track candidates in our applicant system;
Participate in onboarding and termination activities;
Maintain and audit physical employment files;
Partner on safety programs;
Manage workers compensation activities;
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance;
Participates in responding to verification of employment and EDD claims;
Participate in performance management activities;
Partner on compensation analysis;
Participate in monthly employee appreciation activities to include planning monthly events, annual summer picnic and annual holiday party;
Maintain employee programs such as: bingo, shout outs and birthday announcements/cards;
Perform other duties as required to meet company needs.
Minimum of five (5) year experience in HR;
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is preferred;
Prior experience developing and implementing training & development;
Knowledge of US Labor Laws: FLSA, OSHA, FMLA. CA specific laws preferred;
Exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills;
Strong organizational skills;
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality;
