The tasks within the role involve interaction with customers, including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal details, store goods, and other valuable items, which may or may not be supervised. Key responsibilities:
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the telephone by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products and services
- Establish productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Carry out sales transactions precisely in accordance with policies and procedures
- Work towards and achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Keep accurate work order files and formulas
- Retrieve requested products from the sales floor or warehouse
- As required, adjust and merge products to customer specifications
- Arrange displays and restock shelves
- Clean store equipment and load/unload delivery trucks
- Assist with deliveries when necessary
- Keep designated areas well-stocked and presentable
- Stay updated on the products we offer and discuss available options with customers
- Adhere to inventory control procedures and suggest methods to boost sales
Minimum Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Be authorized to work in the country of employment without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status
- Be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Hold a High School diploma or GED
- Have a minimum of one year experience working in a customer-facing role, ideally within retail, delivery, or customer service
- Have prior experience selling paint and related products
- Have previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate proficiently in Spanish.
