RN-CARDIOLOGY

Winslow Indian Health Care Center- Winslow, AZ
(8-hour shifts- 36-40 hours a week)

Job Duties

Cardiology RN for Ambulatory Clinic
Cardiology experience needed -- Including being familiar with cardiac monitors, defibrillators, EKG machines, stress testing, holter placements, and cardiology education
Clinical Setting
o Ambulatory / Cardiology Clinic.
o Nurses will float between ambulatory / cardiology settings as needed
o Preferably, it’ll help if nurses have experience with COVID testing and vaccine administration for all age group (6 weeks to geriatric).
Requirements
o State License? Compact license
o Certifications? BLS & ACLS mandatory // PALS, NRP, ENPC, and TNCC optional
Schedule
o Weekly schedule? 5/8-hour shifts per week - option for 4/10s
o Hours per week? 40 hours

Experience
o More than 1 year with experience working in ambulatory setting. Ability to administer vaccine to all age group (2 months to geriatric) and triage experience.
o Must be experienced in administering vaccines to the pediatric population.
o Preferably, it’ll help if nurses have experience with COVID testing and vaccine administration for all age group (6 weeks to geriatric).
· Must speak, understand, read, and write English fluently and communicate with sufficient clarity to be understood by personnel and patients.

Work Environment /Physical demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, hear and perform repetitive motions. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles.


Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with clients, vendors and staff. Work is performed in a patient care area with exposure to communicable diseases, possible exposure to blood and bodily
fluids. Environment may be stressful; work schedule may be variable. Overnight travel may be required from time to time Mental demands: There are a number of deadlines associated with this position. The employee must be able to handle frequent interruptions and must also multi-task and interact with a wider variety of people on various and, at times, complicated issues.

Background Investigation:
This position may be subject to a 101-630 background
check in an effort to ensure compliance with public law 101-630 “Indian child
protection and family violence prevention act.” Candidates for positions that require a 101-630 background check must be able to successfully pass a background and character investigation in
compliance with pl 101-630.


Drug Screening:
All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment
drug screening prior to beginning employment and will be subject to random drug
testing thereafter.
