Surgery Center Preop/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Relocation Offered!

MedStar Lafayette Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility conveniently located on the 10th floor of Building 2 of MedStar Health at Lafayette Centre in downtown, Washington, D.C. This surgery center completes over 570 surgeries per month! We are hiring a Part Time (30 hrs) Preop/PACU Nurse. We have openings for a 30 hour per week position and a 40 hour per week position. No Nights, Weekends, Holidays, or On Call!

Key Responsibilities

Independently assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge. In collaboration with the patient and family, provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with the physician and other members of the healthcare team. Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• At least 1 year of previous Preop/PACU experience required.
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
