IREX is seeking a Program Coordinator who will work as a regional representative of the UNITY project implemented by IREX office in Ukraine. The Program Coordinator will work as a full-time employee under the supervision of Youth Center Manager and will be responsible for regional program activities.

Your Background & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience with international donors, knowledge of requirements and procedures for managing grant programs is an advantage
  • Volunteer experience is an added advantage
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, ability to work with different age groups and adapt to the needs of the target audience
  • Experience organizing various types of training and interactive activities
  • Experience working as a trainer or facilitator
  • Ability to establish contacts and partnerships
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Flexibility, readiness to work in tight deadlines
  • Ability to work with a virtual team
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks in accordance with stated deadlines
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills including time management.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment

  • Willingness to grow and develop. Participation in IREX internal preparatory training is obligatory.
  • Strong command of spoken/written Ukrainian
  • Strong command of spoken/written English is an advantage
  • You must have unrestricted authorization to work in Ukraine

Your Daily Tasks

  • Provides a full range of program support to the IREX Ukraine based Program Manager(s) in implementation of regional Program activities;
  • Contributes to planning, implementation and oversight of activities aimed at strengthening the capacity and raising the quality of services offered by youth centers;
  • Serves as a representative of the Program and main contact point between Kyiv office and local stakeholders;
  • Organizes and conducts training and other education activities for target audience;
  • Supports the implementation of project elements at the regional level in accordance with the approved working plan;
  • Monitors the project stakeholders and activities implemented by subawardees, participates in the monitoring and evaluation of project activities;
  • Responsible for providing regular reports in accordance with the IREX standards and requirements and approved reporting format;
  • Presents program activities and conducts outreach and maintains effective relations and collaboration with partners, project participants and representatives of local authorities;
  • Under the supervision of Youth Center Manager, plans Program expansion to various geographies and audiences;
  • Supports in communication, collection of success stories and program participants' feedback;
  • Assists with the collection of the necessary documentation, including the collection of contract and vendor information and data for analytical materials.
  • Actively cooperates and maintenances of effective internal communication with the Program Manager(s) and program team from the head office in Kyiv;
  • Responsible for due diligent record keeping of program related documents, financial forms and payments;
  • Provides programmatic, financial, administrative, and logistical support to ensure smooth implementation of the program;
  • Plans and organizes program offline and online events (trainings, workshops, working group meetings, conferences, presentations, consultancies etc);
  • Coordinates with target communities, provides relevant information and collection of program participants' feedback;
  • Assists with the collection of the necessary documentation, including the collection of information for analytical materials.
  • Travels to regions to attend/lead program activities, events and meetings (as requested and agreed with IREX Kyiv office);
  • Supports in preparation of reports on the results of the program implementation in the regions;
  • Coordinates and tracks program activities in regions;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Other support duties as needed.
