Job Summary

This position will work with the Business Systems Department. The Business Systems team provides end-to-end management of IIE's numerous industry-leading technology solutions supporting the organization's core business functions and program operations. The Business System department provides full technology support for these solutions and leads or assists in the acquisition of new technology, developing custom or extensions of existing solutions, user training, operations, and management of all business systems.


The Production Support Manager (PeopleSoft) is responsible for system support, project management, troubleshooting, configuration, testing and training of financial systems as well as financial data integrity. The role also provides subject matter expertise related to specific financial modules and is involved with continuous process improvement management. Although there are several Peoplesoft modules, this role requires a core competency in the Procure to Pay, Record to Report and Project Costing areas. Systems supported include but are not limited to PeopleSoft, CSI Watchdog, Concur and any other finance systems.


Essential Functions:
• Manages frontline support to include answering end user questions, testing system changes and other functional systems relating to all financial areas Procurement and Project Costing PeopleSoft processes.
• Serves as the project lead for small-to-medium financial systems enhancements and updates, including the development, management and adherence to project plans. Recommends potential courses of action to departmental leadership.
• Works with IT and Controller’s teams to identify and address production issues and business process-related enhancements.
• Coordinates with business users as appropriate to reconcile/resolve issues identified using existing ticket tracking system.
• Documents existing processes, workflows, and business process-related enhancements.
• Designs, develops and executes training materials.
• Consults with System support vendors to resolve issues requiring additional analysis or development.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

• Requires a bachelor's degree and at least eight years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Core expertise with PeopleSoft FSCM modules and experience with PeopleSoft Modules including (GL, Project Costing, Grants, Contracts, AP), required.
• Previous work experience in financial systems support; developing documentation for systems and business processes; testing system enhancements; training users on systems; analyzing systems and business needs is required.
• Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, required.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, required.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Test Framework to automate testing process.
• Experience with PeopleSoft PUM process for patches and fixes.
• Familiar with PeopleSoft PUM upgrade process
• Familiar with PeopleSoft Test Framework process

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• At least 3 years project management experience including design, documentation, testing and implementation of small to medium sized financial systems, preferred.
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), preferred.
• Techno-Functional hands-on experience as a consultant or analyst working with PeopleSoft preferred.

Salary Range: $82,103 - $109,190. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
