Job Summary:
This position will work with the Fulbright Outreach and Recruitment team which is responsible for promoting Fulbright opportunities to a range of U.S. audiences, including faculty, administrators, artists, students, and professionals. With a primary focus on the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, this role conducts outreach and recruitment activities serving as a point of contact for assigned disciplines and regions, including East Asia Pacific, Middle East and South Central Asia. This individual will work closely with the Scholar Program team to recruit faculty and administrators at U.S. higher education institutions, convey the strengths of the program to and advise potential applicants, and manage special projects/technical tasks as assigned.


Essential Functions:

• Implements detailed and targeted recruitment plans for assigned portfolio of Fulbright awards in consultation with program team.
• Serves as a point of contact for potential applicants in all assigned country programs and managing a high volume of scholar inquiries.
• Builds and maintains relationships with contacts as institutions of higher education, scholarly associations and, as needed, other external constituencies, including vendors, consultants, and contractors, to professionally represent IIE.
• Represents the Fulbright Program to U.S. institutions, associations, and applicants (both virtually and in-person). This includes presenting on behalf of the Fulbright Program during campus visits, conference presentations, webinars, to a wide range of audiences and key stakeholders
• Assists in the planning and implementation of Fulbright outreach programs.
• Supports the development and implementation of training programs for Fulbright program campus representatives, as well as planning and delivery of Fulbright presence at conferences.
• Tracks, monitors, and supports production and/or distribution of outreach materials and information. Ensures correct brand usage in creation of all materials.
• Contributes to the development of program reports.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five or more years of experience preferred, particularly within higher education working with faculty and administrators.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of fellowship advising for faculty on college campuses preferred.
• Experience working with U.S. government-funded education programs preferred.
• Ability to organize and handle a large volume of work under severe time constraints and pressures.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, public speaking and presentation skills.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English with superior writing and editing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use diplomacy in difficult situations preferred.
• Previous experience with quantitative reports and analysis, including use of customer relationship management databases
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams Outlook.


Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $60,547- $70,386. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
