Dynamis is seeking a Junior Data Scientist/Statistician to support a government client in the Washinton, DC area. The Junior Data Scientist is an integral member of a collaborative analytics team that will be responsible for supporting the development of products by translating business requirements into data-driven deliverables and analyses. The individual will collaborate with client to design and develop requirements for review and design, develop and execute solutions.

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) degree required in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Information Management, or a closely related field.
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation to obtain public trust clearance or higher.
  • At least three (3) years of data analytics-related experience or relevant/similar experience which includes experience/knowledge/skills/abilities with all the following:
    • Has an initial level of understanding about maintaining and complying with requirements for the following task areas: collecting, compiling, processing, normalizing, analyzing, and interpreting data using and configuring systems support tools such as SAS, R, Tableau, Access, SharePoint, Power Apps and Excel.
    • Experience with documenting and reviewing data sharing agreements.
    • Customer service and communication skills relaying technical concepts.
    • Experience with managing data quality, cleansing, tagging, archiving and metadata management.
    • Experience with testing and implementing application software with regards to collecting, processing, and storing data.
