We are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Multicultural Communications Fall Intern with advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish, particularly in writing and communication skills. The intern will play a key role in supporting the creation, review, and cross-team collaboration on Spanish bilingual assets for both internal and external campaigns and media outreach aligned with Share Our Strength's priorities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in building and maintaining media lists.
  • Support select media pitching efforts, particularly to Latino media outlets.
  • Conduct in-depth research on the Latino media landscape to develop a targeted engagement and pitching list.
  • Assist with media tracking and the development of reports
  • Analyze Latino audience trends for online engagement, brainstorming strategies for brand placement and recognition across digital channels.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure culturally responsive content and outreach strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish, with strong writing skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge or interest in Latino audience trends, particularly in social media and digital spaces, and media is highly desirable
  • Organized, self-motivated and flexible
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently;
  • Ability to work well with multiple and diverse groups of people;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required;
  • Available to work 20-40 hours per week;
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
