Primary Responsibilities
This is a Supervisory Role with Full-Time Hours
As a Store Manager, you will lead and mentor your team to deliver outstanding service and advice to our customers. You will manage daily store operations, focusing on business performance, product leadership, and equipping your team for success. As a pivotal figure, you’ll represent our brand by delivering expert product knowledge and spreading our "Live Well" philosophy.
- Ensure merchandise presentation conforms to our standards, prioritizing visibility and accessibility.
- Support the holistic shopping experience, including visual and operational components, current sales campaigns, and building customer relationships that translate into sales and returning business, such as our rewards program.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales and productivity goals, while empowering team members to reach their own potential.
- Build strong teams and exhibit leadership and management skills, including providing continuous feedback on employee performance, recruiting, hiring, and conducting performance management.
- Oversee operational tasks like opening, closing, cash handling, inventory checks, and deposits according to our procedures.
- Represent our organization’s mission and initiatives at community events, fairs, conferences, and meetings.
Work Environment & Scheduling
- Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours daily.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting—below the waist and above shoulders.
- Frequent repetitive hand-to-finger movements and arm reaching.
- Lift up to twenty pounds frequently and up to forty pounds occasionally. Push/pull up to twenty pounds.
- Climb ladders, reach, and bend as needed.
- Operate in temperatures between 50 and 85 degrees, especially in stockroom spaces.
- Utilize a computer for approximately 60% of the workday.
Store Managers commit to a five-day, forty-hour workweek, following these schedule expectations:
- For mall and strip center stores, work at least two nights during the week, one weekend night, and a third night.
- For strip centers, complete a full shift on Saturdays.
- For mall locations, work peak business days, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Work a minimum of one full Sunday per month.
- Downtown store managers work during lunchtime hours from Monday to Friday and one evening shift per week if the store has evening hours. No Saturday hours required for downtown locations.
- Work all major U.S. holidays if the store is operational.
