A leading dealership in the Tulsa, OK area needs to hire a trustworthy, ethical, responsible, and organized Payroll Administrator to assist with the management of employee compensation. You will perform a variety of tasks such as entering payroll information, calculating wages, and making payments. Automotive dealership payroll clerk experience is preferred.

Responsibilities - Payroll Administrator:

  • Manage compensation packages using payroll software
  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees
  • Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
  • Calculate bonuses and commissions
  • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes, etc.
  • Handle questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management
  • Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies
  • Prepare and submit payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Manage employee benefits

Qualifications/Requirements - Payroll Administrator:

  • Payroll experience is required – preferably dealership experience
  • ADP Workforce Now experience required
  • Reynolds DMS experience preferred
  • Strong bookkeeping knowledge and general ledger maintenance
  • Detailed oriented, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Must be able to prioritize, plan work activities using time efficiently, and meet deadlines
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, and respond to management direction
  • Must have strong communication and people skills; both verbal and written
  • Capable of working independently and in a group setting
  • Professional appearance is required
  • Valid driver’s license
