General Summary:

Grade 4 jobs include positions such as: end of line tester, technical trainer, and utility. The primary responsibility for these roles is to complete final testing/quality checks on assembled products, provide technical training to new employees, and provide advanced operating abilities in critical plant areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Confirm to all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment
  • Perform advanced assembly of complicated components with rigid tolerance requirements
  • Perform final testing on assembled products to confirm operation and quality
  • May provide work leadership including resolving routine materials problems
  • Braze refrigerant systems based on SOP's, quality standards, and trainings
  • Work from blueprints, engineering plans, specifications, and machining parameters
  • Use independent judgement to manufacture products according to established specifications
  • Setup or adjust equipment according to specifications
  • Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintain accurate daily production records
  • Weld together metal components working from blueprints and pre-determined specifications
  • Use a range of hand and power tools
  • Maintain daily housekeeping
  • Other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED, required
  • Between 3-5 years prior manufacturing experience, preferred
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure and handle basic tools
  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Stable work history


Physical Demands:
  • Must lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
