Overview:

The House Attendant is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all assigned areas and equipment (e.g. Public Areas, Lobby, Event Space, Parking Lot, etc.) They are also responsible for supporting all other departments with tasks and duties assigned from time to time (e.g. supporting Housekeeping with tasks).

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain floors daily according to hotel standards.
  • Daily walks to ensure Interior and Exterior of Hotel are organized and free of trash or debri
  • Shampoo carpets in the public areas according to hotel standards.
  • Shampoo furniture as needed.
  • Handle all guest requests in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to hotel standards.
  • Assist and Support Housekeeping with guestrooms as needed.
  • Setting up banquet rooms according to event orders and breaking them down after the event
  • Have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures.
  • Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
  • Maintain storage of hotel equipment and inventory in proper areas.
  • Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned from time to time by Management.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Adhere to hotel's dress code policy
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Must be self-motivated and organized
  • Ability to take direction
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
