Description

Universal Avionics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing and technology to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing efforts through various employee and customer-facing activities, including communications and events. This role involves contributing to marketing communications drafts and documents, company events, trade shows, new product launches, and aiding in the development of ideas and strategies as part of the marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of our brand, products, and customers, and bring a brand and customer-centric focus to the role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Keep track of marketing assets and ensure their timely delivery and proper organization.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing company and customer events, including trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
  • Help in planning, executing, and tracking various marketing programs such as email campaigns, social media initiatives, content marketing, and others.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and provide actionable insights to the marketing team.
  • Assist in creating and curating content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
  • Manage expenses within the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to ensure timely and quality delivery of marketing materials and services.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, etc.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with marketing campaign management and execution, including email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and analytics software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience in the aviation or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Project management skills with demonstrated ability to meet priorities within tight timelines and high client expectations, and where necessary to renegotiate deliverables.
  • Ability to quickly grasp varied technical and business concepts and to translate them into compelling value propositions for the company’s current and prospective customers.

Computer Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Experience with Pardot, Marketo, or other marketing automation tools desired.
  • Experience with SalesForce is desired.
  • Experience with SharePoint is desired.
