Your responsibilities
  • Reviews assigned work order for correct parts, documents drawings, engineering specifications, and stores requisition (bill of materials) and sales orders
  • Inspects all housings, castings, liners and components, for any defects
  • Prepare components for assembly by removing, paint, grease or other substances from designated areas.
  • Performs checkproof inspections of assembled PCV & PT components for conformance to specifications and dimensional correctness
  • Pressure tests units and subassemblies if required.
  • Prepares PCV & PT assemblies for painting by trimming all protruding liner materials and gaskets from joints and seams, and solvents wasting areas contaminated with greases and silicon
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations
  • Properly maintain company supplied uniforms
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


What you bring
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/production environment preferred and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints
  • Must have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical and mechanical devices
