Your responsibilities
Reviews assigned work order for correct parts, documents drawings, engineering specifications, and stores requisition (bill of materials) and sales orders
Inspects all housings, castings, liners and components, for any defects
Prepare components for assembly by removing, paint, grease or other substances from designated areas.
Performs checkproof inspections of assembled PCV & PT components for conformance to specifications and dimensional correctness
Pressure tests units and subassemblies if required.
Prepares PCV & PT assemblies for painting by trimming all protruding liner materials and gaskets from joints and seams, and solvents wasting areas contaminated with greases and silicon
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Maintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations
Properly maintain company supplied uniforms
Performs other related duties as assigned
What you bring
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in a manufacturing and/production environment preferred and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Must be able to interpret blueprints
Must have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical and mechanical devices
