  • Responsibility and Accountability: Assists in directing patient care by prioritizing the care of patients depending on their needs.
  • Patient Education and Chart Completion: Assesses patients' understanding of surgical procedure/instructions.
  • Performs pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education.
  • Duties Specific to PAT RN: Supports the completion of patient testing.
  • Evaluates Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.
