DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary role of our Emergency Room RNs (ER RNs) is to document current symptoms and gather a comprehensive patient history. In synergy with other members of the healthcare squad, our ER RNs shape, implement and critically evaluate patient care plans. While the ER RN's role is vast and varied, the following forms the core of their duties:
- Manage care for patients grappling with life-threatening issues and execute triage interventions
- Collaborate with physicians to facilitate exams, diagnostic tests, treatments
- Administer and record medicines prescribed, and also prepare them.
