We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to turn our walk-in customers into longstanding loyal patrons. You are the first person our customers interact with as they step into our store. With your expert advice and knowledge on home furnishings, you inspire and energize customers about Ashley's products. You assist our customers in discovering styles that mirror their taste and preferences, aiding them in designing spaces they would adore. Your Responsibilities:
- Exceed in an atmosphere that rewards for outstanding service and excellent customer interaction.
- Deliver superior service experience to every customer and guest.
- Maintain a welcoming, professional presence at the front desk, engaging with guests in a congenial, respectful manner that conversely enhances the Company's image.
- Accurately and promptly organise sales orders while adhering to cash handling norms.
- Help customers with credit applications and financial queries, extensively documenting sales transactions.
- Independently address customer grievances when possible.
- Assist in store opening and closing routines, performing cash reconciliation, and daily checklist completion.
- Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, participate in bi-yearly inventory checks.
- Surpass sales objectives and align to KPI's and performance benchmarks.
- Fulfill any additional tasks as assigned by the management.
Your Qualification:
- Legal authorization to work in the US.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 IBS with or without assistance.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- A year of customer service and/or sales experience, preferred.
- An outgoing, friendly disposition and enjoys interacting with people.
- Efficacious communication that encourages action.
- Excitement in developing and sharing innovative ideas.
- Flexibility to work during different hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to motivate others through your communication.
- Thrives in an environment that prizes exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
