Embark on your grooming profession as a Trainee Groomer! As a Trainee Groomer at our Pet Grooming Salon, You'll have the chance to establish personal bonds with your customers each time they're in, as if becoming a part of their family. Not just this, you'll get to understand their pets' unique preferences and styles, thereby providing tailored, fashionable grooming experience tailored exclusively for them! Be it the initial shampoo or the final confident walk home, you would take immense pride in the services you render!

Bring along your passion, while we provide the training you need. Petsmart provides a comprehensive training programme assuring your success.
- Stage 1-- Bather: Kick-start your education through practical exposure to our pets. These pets become our own whilst under our care, hence safety certification becomes our top priority. Under salon leader's guidance, your training commences as a bather where you learn about various dog breeds and styling, bath them, trim their nails and assist groomers throughout the pet's stay.
- Stage 2-- Grooming Academy: After acquiring preliminary experience (indeed, under your smock!), attend our exclusive Grooming Academy! Gain insights from our seasoned Academy Trainers for 4 weeks in a classroom atmosphere. You delve deeper into breed styling, caring for varied dog breeds, and become hands-on with tools and clippers. Bonus, a free toolkit worth over $600 awaits you at graduation!
- Stage 3--Groomer Trainee: Implement your new set of skills and your plush new toolkit at our salon. Under the supervision of seasoned groomers, you commence grooming diverse breeds and sizes of dogs. An aim of grooming 200 dogs warrants the diversity and exposure you need!
- Stage 4--Pet Stylist in Training: Now, it's time for you to perfect your skills. You build relationships with your clients, provide style suggestions, propose new services and partake in the joy when customers collect their well-groomed pet. And yes, the free toolkit is indeed fantastic!
