Common Cases: GYN/Uro/Vascular/Plastic/Ortho (total hips/knees)/Neuro/Cardiovascular/Thoracic/General (Breast/HPB/Bariatric)/Sports Med (Hand/Podiatry)/Kidney (or kidney/pancreatic) transplants, ENT (FESS (sinus), septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, laryngoscopy in addition to soft tissue - thyroid/parathyroid), Large and complex cases. Robot-Davinci Xi (Gyn, Uro, General).16 total different service lines
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Scrubbing- one year of experience. First time travelers okay.
Shifts & Scheduling Details: 4-10 hour shifts, variable days and start times Mon-Friday.
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes
Floating Requirements: None
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Teal- Scrubs provided
Unit/Department specific orientation: HR and OR leadership- Scavenger hunt- 2 days with a surgical tech.
Physicians and team are very helpful and willing to teach. Travelers tend to extend as long as they can.
Job Requirements
BLS Certification Required
Must have WA State license at time of submittal. No pending license will be reviewed.
Must be registered with Washington State. Graduate of an accredited school.
Davinci XI experience required (Gyn, Uro, General).
Schedule Information
4-10 hour shifts, variable days and start times Mon-Friday.
Start times- 0630, 0900, or 1100. No self scheduling. Will keep start time consistent for the same week.
Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1 Call total (weeknight or weekend) per 4 week schedule.
Weekday call begins at the end of shift until 7am next morning.
