The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $125,510.00– $181,745.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $103,950.00 - $150,525.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

Workforce Solutions:

  • Lead and develop the workforce solutions team to help effectively manage future growth and complexity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand needs and design solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
  • Lead all aspects of building user-friendly knowledge resources for employees to self-serve common human resources inquiries.
  • Partner to ensure consistency in policy, process, program frameworks and implementation in functional areas.

Compliance:

  • Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure vendor performance meets agreed service levels.
  • Own HR policies and employee handbook and auditing adherence to ensure alignment between HR policies and broader organizational goals.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations and industry standards and proactively address potential risks.
  • Lead EEO/OFCCP and Affirmative Action strategy to maintain compliance.
  • Lead Interaction with internal and external agencies to provide requested information and respond to audit notifications and reporting requirements
  • Lead HRIS and data privacy regulatory requirements, to ensure data management practices are compliant and mitigating data security and privacy risks.

Benefits:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants to optimize the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of our benefits programs
  • Lead benefits evaluation and analysis programs including analyze benefit utilization data and prepare reports to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Educate employees and managers on our benefits programs.
  • Own the employee recognition program to foster a culture of appreciation and engagement.

Human Resources Technology:

  • Create and maintain the multi-year HR technology roadmap and strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and automation opportunities to be integrated into HR systems and processes, as appropriate.
  • Responsible for overall data integrity, security, and operational precision.

Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

  • 8+ years of experience in human resources, including in depth knowledge of benefits design and management, technology, compliance and federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience building and managing HR teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborate effectively and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or other HR professional certification (SPHR, sHRBP) preferred.
