Nature and Scope of Job

USDM Life Sciences is seeking an experienced IT Business Relationship Manager to join our team. This position plays a vital role in building and maintaining critical business unit relationships across an ever-evolving IT landscape. You will help to create IT roadmaps for your assigned respective business unit, generate user requirements, translate business requirements to functional requirements, support business process creation, facilitate the creation of end-to-end test scripts and produce and support the delivery of training content related to the business unit's technical initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Align and drive IT services and products with business objectives.

  • Leverage your excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate dialogue, clarify needs and articulate how IT can support the business unit’s requirements.

  • Close collaboration and negotiation with key decision makers, driving innovation, and enhancing efficiency across IT and the respective business units

  • Thorough understanding of the business units current state and our client’s corporate and strategic goals.

  • Influence and strategize with IT leadership to ensure value optimization of IT initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of industry experience with proven track record of success in developing and managing relationships with business partners and clients.

  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years in IT project management experience and/or IT Business Analyst Experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal, strategic thinking and leadership skills.

  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills; ability to recognize and resolve disputes quickly.

  • Create and implement strategies to meet business units IT objectives; drive critical success measures and KPIs to help ensure goals are met.

  • Negotiate contracts with partners and clients.

  • Develop roadmaps and support IT Portfolio planning.

  • Understanding of basic project management principles and best practices.

  • Foundational understanding of IT Cloud and infrastructure concepts.

  • Ability to deeply collaborate across teams to produce overall solution and desired outcomes.

  • Process improvement capabilities and skills (Value stream mapping, PDCA).

Education & Certifications


  • Bachelors + 12 years of related experience.

Compensation

Salary/Hourly Rate Range (W2): USD 70.00 - 90.00

The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.

Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.

Both full and part time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan. Full and part time employees may be eligible for paid time off.
