Senior Java Full Stack Engineer
We are seeking Senior Full Stack Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong expertise in JavaScript over the entire stack, with a focus on the Vue framework, GraphQL and Java development in a cloud environment, although proficiency in other frameworks overall will also be valued.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Frontend work with VueJS Framework.
• JavaScript and TypeScript development.
• Handling of VueX for state management.
• Familiarity with REST API patterns and GraphQL development.
• Strong Java backend development experience in an AWS environment.
• Hands-on experience in developing enterprise web applications on Java, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Understanding and implementation of microservices.
• HTML5, CSS3 knowledge.
• Recommend enhancements and modifications to improve app performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Help to keep systems and information secure at all times, complying with the latest security standards.
• Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.
• Promote efficiency, predictability, and scalability through automation.
• Code reviews and merging.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Vue framework.
• JavaScript and TypeScript development experience 5/4 years, especially in NodeJS environments.
• Experience developing microservices in AWS.
• State management.
• Familiarity with API Design, documentation and GraphQL pattern implementation.
• Understanding of architectural design documents for cloud applications.
• 5+ years of experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring REST, Junit, Gradle, HTTP REST protocol.
• Good Understanding of RESTful web services (REST & JSON).
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Experience in writing unit testing using Junit/ jmock etc.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
