Who We Are:

The Spacecraft Development Department is a group of innovative engineers, program managers, and technicians developing unique spacecraft solutions for challenging space missions. We design and fabricate custom solutions to explore the boundaries of science or solve complex problems not yet delivered by industry using a variety of payloads.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Summer 2025 intern position.
  • Work in multidisciplinary project teams to support the development of cutting edge spacecraft.
  • Work in integrated project teams to support the full lifecycle of hardware development.
  • Collaborate with engineering team on design, assembly, integration, and test.
  • Support R&D and promotional efforts to develop and implement new technologies.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Support spacecraft mission development and design.
  • Support development of spacecraft systems requirements and development of satellite MEL.
  • Support spacecraft system integration and test activities to include spacecraft function tests and environmental tests.
  • Participate in assigned project team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Space Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering
  • 0 years: Experience in Solidworks and/or CREO preferred.
  • Experience with STK or spaceflight modeling software preferred.
  • Hands on experience thru project work or internships with integration and test of spacecraft systems or spacecraft hardware is preferred.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
