Position Summary:
Aleut Federal is hiring a journeyman Agile Team Coach / Project Manager to direct and deliver various projects supporting the Air Force BlueSCI network. This includes projects to expand core services with new technology and capabilities and bring new sites into the BlueSCI enterprise. This position will be located in San Antonio, TX, and will be on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Develops project scope, backlog, and work schedules according to project requirements.
- Responsible for cost estimation and control.
- Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as needed.
- Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements.
- Maintains lines of communication among project team members and stakeholders.
- Cognizant of risk management processes and requirements, coordinates to include cybersecurity in project aspect.
- Reports project progress to key stakeholders.
- Transcribes and records critical decisions and action items resulting from meetings.
- Gathers, compiles, and reports on information relevant to the project.
- Manage and provide oversight on assigned Local IT projects.
- Contributes to the Change Approval Board process
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for all requirements/projects, including planning, quality control, direction, coordination, deliverable submissions, and reviews.
- Provide weekly and monthly status project updates to the contract, flight, and team lead.
- Able to receive, track, and assign tasks in the IT Ticketing system, currently ServiceNow
Requirements:
- High School with 3-5 years (or commensurate experience).
- Must have verified DOD Top Secret with SCI eligibility on day one.
- Must have an Active CompTIA CAPM or IC AgilePM Foundation Certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience managing IT projects.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and writing skills.
- Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical science or project management discipline, including a career in a military job category of project management.
- Experience in both short & long-term IT systems deployment.
- One to three years of experience working with Government contracting.
- ITIL 3 or later certification.
