Are you looking for an opportunity in ServiceNow?

The ITSM Platform Delivery Team at Edward Jones is responsible the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Now Platform. This team works with the Service Management office to provide overall strategic direction, ongoing administration, and executes development against the Technical Roadmap aligned to requirements and priorities from the Business.

We're currently expanding our team, including an opportunity for a ServiceNow Engineer IV to Join our ITSM Platform Delivery Team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in developing, designing, and implementing high-quality software solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, leveraging your expertise to enhance our internal customer's processes and drive innovation.
What You'll do
Essential Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Develop, configure, and customize software solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow forms, workflows, and processes across multiple modules such as, CSM, SPM, ITSM, and ITOM using JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that address the clients' needs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and user guides.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting of software solutions to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and plan development projects.
  • Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow releases and features and provide recommendations for product enhancements and improvements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, resolving any issues or inquiries related to ServiceNow.
  • Identify opportunities and drive innovation and efficiency through automation and self-service.
  • Participate in code walkthroughs, reviews, and reworks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Serve as tiered point of escalation for bug-fix support and enhancement development for customizations.
  • Perform thorough regression testing for resolved issues.
  • Manage, update, set creation and migrate updates from test environments to production.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $96471
Hiring Maximum: $164262

Skills/Requirements

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business or related major or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with hands-on ServiceNow development.
  • Subject Matter Expert on the Change Management Module
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and Certified System Administrator certifications are required.
  • ServiceNow expertise and the ability to lead the development/configuration across multiple environments.
  • Experience and strong skills in Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.js).
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow with Flow Designer, Client Scripts, advanced UI Policies, Workflow editor, ACLs, and Script Includes, as well as UI Scripts to fulfill requirements and experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment collaborating with innovative cross-functional teams and problem-solvers. Ability to work independently as well as engaging and contributing to teamwork.
  • Detail orientation with strong analytical capabilities to overcome ambiguity, articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, ensuring comprehension among diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Best Practice Engine Rule Creation

*Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with a preference for Tuesday through Thursday.***
