Job Requirements
Med/Surg or PCU experience
BLS and VA License required
Rehab experience preferred
Floating policy: may be floated to other Med Surg depts.
Scheduling requirements: 12 hr shifts, every other weekend

Building: Main 4E
Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 35, Patient Ratios: 5-7:1

Additional Details
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Techs per census, usually 2-4
Type of equipment: Vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCD’s, Bladder scanner
Documentation system: Meditech
Procedures performed on unit: Med administration to include IV’s, PICC, PEG tube admin; Bladder scans, Trach care, Tube feeding, Foley cath, Bladder irrigation, Blood Administration
Dress Code: Navy blue or white solid scrubs
