Perioperative Technician Lead

How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:

• Decontaminates and distributes instruments, supplies, and equipment for patient care. Prepares case carts for Operating Room. Participates in the delivery of individualized perioperative nursing care under the supervision and guidance of a licensed physician or a registered professional nurse. Organizes and prepares equipment and supplies for patient care. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to assure quality patient care.
• Provides leadership to staff and assumes responsibilities delegated by manager. Assists with processess related to achieving organization-wide goals.
• Facilitates effective, open, two-way communication and resolution of worksite operational issues that support service line goals, objectives, benchmarks and targets.
• Leades, delegates and participates in providing quality service through a team oriented approach to patient care with the perioperative tech I and II.
• Participates in and coordinates the team of perioperative technicians in the delivery of care to patients under the guidance of the licensed surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNA's or registered nurses.

What We Require:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, Patient Care Tech, or Medical Experience. Minimum of 1 year leadership experience with direct reports or 2 years experience in one of the above roles with initiative of completing leadership courses and demonstrates capability to lead.
Life Support: BLS
Other Minimum Qualifications: Requires basic interpersonal skills. Satisfactory completion of orientation. Must be able to fulfill fundamental components/essential elements of position.
