A hospital in California is looking for an experienced CT/X-RayTech for a travel assignment.
The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
2 years of experience required; will consider 1st time travelers.
Level II Trauma Experience preferred; but not required.
Radiology is very fast paced.
Must be a self-starter & ready to hit the ground running.
C arms in OR.
Very well staffed - night shift can be more challenging because there are less resources.
Job Requirements
Hold an active BLS.
ARRT(CT).
ARRT(R).
Fluoro and CA license.
Schedule Information
Shifts: They do 8s,10s, 12s - Specific shift info will be provided by the hospital when candidates submitted into the interview queue.
Floor specific orientation: 1-2 shifts in the department.
Nights, M-W plus one additional shifts, EOW, First to Float.
Unit Specific Information
- Department: Diagnostic Radiology.
- Certs: Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II w/ CT BLS, ARRT, & Fluoro required through the state of CA. Rad Tech II must have CT Experience.
- EMR/Equipment: Cerner. Philips ipatient 64 and big bore 16.
- Manager: Report to Manager & team lead.
- Weekend Requirement: This info will be provided when candidates submitted into the interview queue.
- Holidays: This info will be provided by the hospital when candidates submitted into the interview queue; however, candidates will be expected to work holidays if needed.
- Call: Call will vary & will be discussed when the hospital calls for 2nd interview.
- Scrub Color: Teal, unless going into the OR, then scrubs would be provided.
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Radiologist in house until 6 pm, then on-call.
Additional Details
