Responsibilities:
As Assistant Grocery Manager, you play a crucial role helping customers make healthier food choices by providing stellar customer service while managing one of our busiest in-store teams.

    - Assist the Grocery Manager in strategizing for maximum productivity and profitability
    - Manage ordering, inventory control, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team
    - Efficiently manage merchandising and sales via constant planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
    - Participate in a team that delivers prime quality of product and the best customer experience
    - Aid in recruitment, training, and development of the Grocery Team
    - Unload and sort incoming store deliveries
    - Maintain company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations and ensure the same adherence by the Grocery team
    - Having a knack for thriving in fast-paced environments is essential

Requirements:
To qualify as an Assistant Grocery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you must:

    - Be 18 years of age or older with 1-3 years of retail management experience. Prior exposure to natural foods and alternative diets is desirable
    - Be dependable and flexible to work schedules that adjust to business needs; including nights, weekends, and holidays. Walking up to 3 miles per 8-hour shift is expected
    - Possess strong communication skills and be a team player
    - Have an outgoing and friendly disposition with a positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
    - Exhibit capable leadership skills to motivate and maintain staff, with knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goals
    - Be detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
    - Proficient in organization and planning, able to juggle multiple tasks
