Become part of the vibrant Amazon warehouse team, a critical component of the services we offer to our customers. Our energetic, physically engaging roles span several areas such as merchandise, custom orders, customer returns, expedited deliveries, and general fulfillment or distribution services. Typical duties involve picking, packing, operating forklifts, shipping orders, among other tasks.
We offer various shifts to choose from - daytime, nighttime, or weekends.
Job Duties:
- Receiving and storing inventory
- Preparing, packing customer orders
- Loading boxes onto delivery vehicles
- Using scanners to read product bar codes
- Following screen prompts for specific tasks
- Troubleshooting problems
- Checking product quality
- Operating heavy machinery (like forklifts or pallet drivers) and potentially working at heights of up to 35 feet. Training for equipment handling and safety is provided free of cost.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- Capability to push utility carts weighing up to 60 pounds
- Capacity to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout shifts
- Capacity to use equipment like carts, dollies, hand trucks to move equipment
- Ability to climb stairs (if required)
- Work at heights up to 40 feet (if needed)
