Job Overview: The 12A Neonatal ICU (NICU formerly DNCC) is a 46 bed level III neonatal intensive care unit with a patient population of critically ill, convalescing and growing premature and term newborns. Admissions come from our own high-risk perinatal department as well as transports from other hospitals in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Hawaii.
Our primary mission is to provide family-centered care for our fragile patients and their families.
We have specialists available in endocrine, pulmonary, genetics, renal, metabolic, ophthalmology, neurology, general pediatric surgery as well as cardiothoracic surgery.
OHSU is a teaching hospital and our nurses participate in the education of both students and pediatric residents.
