Brief Description of PSU/School/Dept | Trauma Informed Oregon is housed at the Regional Research Institute, part of PSU’s School of Social Work. TIO develops and disseminates information and offers training and consultation related to Trauma Informed Care, workforce wellness, and equity across the state. TIO works in partnership with a diverse group of stakeholders, including state and local policy makers, service providers, communities, individuals with lived experience, and families, to promote and sustain trauma informed policies and practices. |

Position Summary | The Training and Curriculum Specialist is a professional staff member in the Trauma Informed Oregon (TIO) program, responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that integrate trauma-informed practices across sectors. This position will work with the Trauma Informed Oregon team to successfully complete deliverables outlined in the contract between TIO/PSU and the Oregon Health Authority. Primary duties include developing, disseminating, and updating training and consultation material, delivering training on trauma-informed care, and working closely with the training coordinator position to ensure a high quality experience for all involved with the work. |

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement | PSU has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity. The starting annual salary range for this position has been set at $54,684 to $61,152; any salary rate above this range would need to be negotiated according to the factors listed above, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. This is a 12-month benefited position; the benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare, retirement plan, and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse, or dependent at any of the Oregon University System schools. |
