Facilities and Property Management (FPM) is a part of the Office of Planning, Construction, and Real Estate. FPM coordinates with multiple campus partners to ensure that PSU grounds, buildings, and mechanical systems are well maintained, aesthetically pleasing, clean, functional, and safe for employees, students, and guests. PSU’s Facilities and Property Management department (FPM) is hiring a temporary Trades/Maintenance Worker 2 to conduct a variety of building maintenance related tasks on campus. Primary duties include:

Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of people. They will demonstrate their knowledge of industry best practices while working safely, collaborating with other FPM departments and trades, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor

-Three years of general building maintenance experience in one or more of the following trade areas: carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, and welding.
NOTE: Some positions may require licensure or certification in a specific trade area.

Contributes to a culture of environmental stewardship, practices resource conservation, and actively works toward achieving long-term sustainability goals.

Between $16.71 and $19.92 per hour. This temporary position is not eligible for benefits.
