Certification Details
AHA PROVIDER ONLY! Must be traditional AHA.
E-Cards must be the employer verified version from the AHA website.
Instructor cert is NOT acceptable for AHA certifications.
RQI AHA is NOT acceptable.
Certificates of Completion are NOT acceptable for AHA certs pending e-cards.
BLS required for Massage Therapists. Does not need to be AHA. Any BLS acceptable (online or in person)
Stroke CEU Required annually for certain units
REQUIRED FOR PANDA TRANSPORT ONLY: Traveler must have a WA state license in addition to an OR state license.
Job Details
High risk labor and delivery unit who also sees high risk antepartum.
Travel flips will be asked their unit worked in, travel end date and comfortability working in the unit without an additional orientation. This will determine how many units orientation are needed if any.
Job Requirements
BLS AHA (RQI not accepted)
NRP
2 years recent MB/PP experience
2 supervisory references within the last year
Need to have exp with high risk preeclampsia & insulin drips
Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced

Unit Specific Information
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
4 bay Triage unit- sees 20 weeks and postpartum within 6 weeks.
OR- 3 operating rooms and 2 bay PACU.
12 labor rooms
Staff by AWOHNN guidelines
Patient age group: Neonates, Infants, Adults
Additional Details
48 hours review time – reviewed by the facility for approval
Charting system- Epic (strong EPIC skills needed)
Scrub color- Light blue
Former OHSU employees must be away from any/all OHSU facility for at least six (6) months before they may return
