The Payroll Specialist position helps to contribute to the Accounting Department by assisting and processing a high volume of weekly certified payroll reporting in addition to maintaining the employee files.
Responsibilities include:
Certified Payroll report preparation and tracking
Keying, batching and auditing timesheets of approximately 500+ employees (as back up)
Filing and processing of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wage/Affidavit of Wages Paid
Processing Employment claims
Processing New Hire packets
Answer questions from employees regarding pay
Heavy phone and email volume
Additional related assignments as needed

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 annually.
Opportunity for a discretionary year end bonus.
401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)
