Laundry Worker - Duties:
- Collect, sort, load soiled linen into washers, and clean linens into dryers.
- Fold clean linens, and keep a record of linen processed daily.
- Deliver proper units.
- Clean and sanitize the workspace, machines, sorting area.
- Implement safety measures, mix and use cleaning solutions safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
- Ensure sanitation is maintained at all times.
- Report promptly and respond timely to the paging system.
- Create a positive customer experience.
- Engage positively and tactfully with residents, staff, and guests.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude, ability to follow oral and written instructions, and undertake daily routine tasks.
- After proper training, independently handle responsibilities without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must follow COVID-19 Vaccination Policies set by State, Local, and/or Customers.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Work around food and cleaning products.
- Reside in the service area.
