Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, corrective repairs, and necessary modifications of the electrical infrastructure systems and related components. Provide documentation of the work performed as required by internal policies and regulatory agencies.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure systems. Conduct periodic testing of EPSS (emergency power supply systems) battery backup lighting, , and lighting inverter systems documenting results of all testing. Replace batteries, lamps, lamp holders, and ballasts as needed keeping accurate records of maintenance and corrective work done to these systems. Program, maintain, and repair, mechanical and electronic lighting controls.
Maintain Lighting control systems for interior and exterior lighting in patient room, research labs, conference rooms, class rooms, and public spaces.
Respond to Campus electrical emergencies
Responsibilities
Possession of one of the following Oregon Electrician's Licenses appropriate to the work to be performed:
General Supervising Electrician License
General Journeyman Electrician License
Limited Journey Manufacturing Plant License
Limited Supervising Manufacturing Plant License
